About Me

With over 5 years of experience in Hypnotherapy and Counselling, my approach is friendly, compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to meet your unique needs.

Having first started my own counselling journey in my adolescence, I was acutely aware of how important it is to find the right therapist for you and your individual needs and a method of therapy which aligns with your personality, beliefs and difficulties at the time. I believe in the power of collaborative therapy and although I will make suggestions and utilise my own experiences, learnings and education to inform our sessions, I want you to guide these sessions, working on understanding, challenging and learning from yourself in each session. 

 

My approach to therapy is pluralistic, and I draw from various evidence-based practices including psychodynamic, CBT, person-centered, DBT and many others to find tools and techniques to support you as an individual, like each individual is unique, so should your therapy. I understand therapy can be incredibly daunting, whether you have had previous therapy experience or it is your first time, therefore I strive to make sure you feel I am the right therapist for you, before we undertake any ongoing therapy. 

 

I offer sessions on evenings and weekends only, and can work with you to find a time to best suit you and your lifestyle.
